Strange, it looks like a Sonic character but I don't recognize her in any of the games or in Sonic Boom...is it a new character that I wasn't aware of cause I don't know...*eyes widen*...my goodness...I heard rumors about these, of a legend of a dark menance that has scattered across the world of a dark fan base that is consider cancer all over the internet. The terror and horror that is...Sonic Fan Characters! *dramatic music*

Believe it or not, I've never created a Sonic Fan Character before even when I was super obsessed over the series when I was young. I have create characters for fanficitions on Naruto, heck I even helped design a Clow Card in Cardcaptor Sakura but I never made a Sonic OC. I have made several stories when I was young about Sonic...and I will take those with me to the grave. Getting off topic, anyways, I really don't have a strong opinion on Sonic Fan Characters even though I heard a lot of things about them (including the very VERY bad ones) but I can see why people are mixed with them. and he has a lot of Fan Characters from the Sonic universe and...I actually like them. What makes his different from other Fan Characters that I've seen is that some characters have the ability to manipulate the elements like fire, water, nature, ice (which shouldn't that be the same as water...just saying

) and so on. All we need now is heart and then we can summon...nevermind, off topic again. It seems that his characters have a lot of work put into them in their personality and design even though there are 1 or 2 unoriginal ideas in a few characters. These characters aren't perfect, but that's a good thing and all I can say is well, I like them

On to the main description, this is Lindsey the Monkey, a 13 year old girl who is part of the Stryke Force and has the ability to manipulate the element of Water. Big backstory to this character but I'll give out the abridge version. Lindsey is a monkey who's parents are Marine Biologist but one time when she was young something happened that caused her to be afriad of going into the water. Several years later she met a Hedgehog named Stryke and several events happened that cause her to confront her fears and she began a years worth of training to master the element of water. Her final test was to visit the area where she feared the water and dives down with scuba gear. She was able to face her fear and she learned a powerful technique from her mother and that's being able to liquify herself to become water (which I don't want to know how that works) and she joins the Stryke Force and love to scuba dive ever since, trying out different equipment to gain new experiences.

And seeing how she is trying out different equipment, she is trying the LAMA bubble helmet gear that you see her for the first time and she seems to enjoy it...even though she may had a hard time getting the equipment on based on the size of her head

Still, I'm very impressed how well this came out. It's a good thing I was able to practice drawing Sonic characters as I added some lighting to the character to match the Sonic Style.
