. My 160th color commission which means it's milestone time and yes, this means more LAMA gear. But this time it's a bit of a surprised as this time it focuses on Maphisto's characters, Meri and Helen.

Here's the run down for the story. Meri, Helen and the team are legal marine biologists but are more like treasure hunters as they use the maire biologists title to get closer to undersea treasures. In this scenario, while exploring the Mediterranean Sea the group discovered an underwater city. After both Helen and Meri talked for a while, they decided to make a video documentary about their discovery so that they can get some additional funds and to please their sponsors. So after doing some research about the city, both Helen and Meri put on some LAMA gear and dive under. They start rolling with Meri as the cameraman with a proper waterproof camera and Helen as the Narrator.

Oh boy this is a fun one to color. The background is something similar to the sea temple I colored a while back but with some rocks in the background and not as tedious to color. I tried to color it as if the city has shown some age duing the number of years it's been underwater and it came out pretty well, especially the statue. Now in the past, you seen Helen and Meri (mostly Meri) in regular diving gear as it tinds to be a bit more realistic with the equipment choices. As much as I love the LAMA gear, it does have some disadvantages in some areas...still think that it's cute. Still, the reason why Helen and Meri opt to use LAMA gear this time around is because LAMA gear was originally invented for filming purposes like movies and documentaries so that you can see their faces much better. Also this time the equipment here with the LAMA gear is a bit more realistic as you see pouches and knifes along with an air gauge and compass...and yet it doesn't have a back up regulator...well I'm sure they are careful

Also notice how the helmet is colored red as in real life that's the only color LAMA gear has been. I tend to add in different colors to have the helmet stand out between each picture and user but it's warrented seeing how this is a bit more realistic but it's nice. Also we finally see the back of the LAMA gear and...the pad on the back is a bit different than what I invisioned...oh well
