Alright, I think I've let enough pictures wait long enough, it's finally time to post some more pictures. Anyhow this is my 151st color commission and it's a normal picture again. This time it's...Penny from Inspector Gadget? Yeah, looking at it, it seems to have all three different kinds of Penny's from the 3 inspector Gadget show, along with an original future design for Penny and her friend Atsuko.

But before I continue, time to make a confession...Penny is my first cartoon crush

Yep, way back in 1995-1996 I remember watching Inspector Gadget almost every afternoon and I love it. The best part in the show is Penny as well she is cute and does her best to save the day. To be fair, I was 3-4 years of old and I wasn't sure why I liked Penny so much but as I gotten older, I realized that Penny is a great of a character she really is as she is actually the hero of the show with her dog, Brain. Not to disrespect Gadget as he is a fun typical goof character and other characters like Chief Quimby and Dr Claw (with a voice you can't forgot) but it's kind of clear Penny stole the show but the other elements help the show as well as this is a good show even after all this time.

So that's my thoughts on the original Penny, as for the other two I don't have too much thoughts on, specially seeing how I didn't know they made a 2002 Gadget Cartoon until around 2010. Gadget and the Gadgetinis is techically the sequel to the original show with some years past as Penny is now 12 years old and unfortuantely is usually behind the scenes most of the time with a few expections based on screenshots I've seen. As for her design she looks neat. Lastly it's the most recent Gadget cartoon released in 2015...as a netflix exclusive...okay? The 2015 is a reboot with 3D animation and a new Penny who is 15 years old and unlike the last two, this one is more active and usually fights against Dr Claw and his...nephew?...Odd addition but whatever. Watching an episode, this 2015 is...pretty similar to the first series and pretty accurate for the most part. While I would need to watch a few more to see how this cartoon is, I can say that it's harmless. As for Penny's design here, it's pretty different but not a bad thing, although because this is a 3D cartoon, it was hard for me to get the colors right (which I'll go more over in an up coming picture). Also she has lips...not a fan of those.

So that's the three Penny's in general, as for the future versions of Penny and Atsuko, those are made up as in the creators story, MAD is doing something evil and they can't do it alone. So using their wisdom they made a machice to bring in all the Penny's from the pasts and different dimensions to help them on their mission to stop MAD with the combination of Power, Widsom and Stealth, nothing can stop them now.

Coloring this was a blast as I get to color the same characters but from different era from animation and having to color the original Penny was a treat
