My 265th color commission and shock of all shocks more scuba related pictures. However this time it's a concept sheet and rather than just normal gear this time we got a hybrid with regular gear and LAMA gear which is the first time in a while since I've had a picture like this. So in a way everyone wins just a little bit.
This time around the concept sheet is with Shinozaki Rika or as a lot of you probably know better, Lisbeth from the Sword Art Online series which hey it's another Sword Art Online character as if you seen my other pictures involving this series you know that I have a personal like/hate relationship with this series with some good but a bit more bad to it that I can't exactly recommend it to anyone. But I've said enough but one of the positives of the series is that at least the characters have good designs to them and Liz here is no exception although she's one of the female characters that I kind of like the least although she is a good blacksmith and has some good moments (at least if my memories serves me correctly). As you could see here, she wears two different equipments but I'm sure there's an option that allows her to switch between gears right away as the regular gear could have an increase in speed while the LAMA gear has an increase in defense as she could just switch between them to best fit the scenario (whatever that is).
Coloring is mostly standard as I try my best to get the colors, shading and lighting details on her as best as I can as well as trying out some of my old effects that I kind of forgotten for a while like the visor effects on the goggles came out great. That's really it for details with one exception and it's a detail that is driving me nuts. As you could tell from the Leprechaun symbol on her top weight, this is suppose to be based on her ALO form in the series and the detail that is very annoying is that she doesn't have pointed ears and while I did try my best to fix this issue, it always doesn't come out the way that I hope it will so unfortunately I have to leave it as it is which hurts me in a way. So you can't exactly blame me for this mistake as I only work on stuff that was handed to me
That's really it. Overall this came out really well. I believe that there's a couple more female SAO characters left and we'll see if we get to cover them in the future. Hope you like it
